To the park!

We took the kids to the park yesterday and they loved the swings! The slides, eh, they could have cared less. I figure another couple of months and they will defiantly begin to love the slides.Today, me and the kids went for a run down at the track, the kids laughed and talked to everyone while mommy sucked some wind. I got 2 miles done, my original goal, and decided the knee was starting to throb so we headed home in time for nap time. Me and the kids played a little in the floor and then they went down a little late, but our only plan today are to go to the Post Office so no big deal.
With the kids getting mobile, we were trying to come up with a safe space for the kids to play in, away from cords and falling objects. So we decided to do some cleaning up in the kids room, slight rearranging and reorganizing of the closets to make it baby proofed. Took down the play yard that was in the living room and rearranged that so Andy could get back to the dinning room table to study. And took apart the kids jumperoo and excosaucer, washed the toys and sprayed everything plastic with water to clean it up. Our Walmart list grew throughout the day, the office needed some cleaning up and purging, I got some bins for all of my craft stuff and need another one! The kids got a bin for all of the tutus and hats that I made/bought for pictures, which will become the dress up bin when they get older. And we even swung by to pick up my check from the consignment sale, bank. We sold almost everything.

Oh yeah! Our check is ready at the consignment shop on the 10th. Come on, mama needs a new pair of shoes (just kidding, Mama needs to pay Daddy for the expensive camera).

Oh, by the way, Betsy only started being able to do the slide in the last couple months. Once she figured it out (lean forward and slide down) it was true love.

Oh how I wish it was warm enough to bring the kids to the park WITHOUT a jacket...one day soon...hopefully!
