Randomness

Andy is a bettin' man and has placed all his money on that these babies are making an appearance in the next 2 weeks. Let's hope not. The contractions I have been having have changed in intensity and location and he's just KNOWS that it is coming; I did have a dream very early on in the pregnancy that we delivered at 33 weeks, but who knows. Finger and legs crossed that they keep cooking and Andy loses his bet.

Andy finishes up BWS this Friday, he checks Monday morning bright and early and then he's done!! The following Monday he will have to take and pass a PT test, have a weigh in on Tuesday, and then Wednesday July 1st, he will select his aircraft. The class that selected yesterday had 3 Apaches, 3 Kiowas, and 20, yes 20 Blackhawks. Andy really wants Apaches, he likes the mission plus he gets to fly really low; however, his class is an anomaly in that they are all consistently 5 points above the curve/average. The guy in first place was 101+ average, Andy's 94 average in another class would put him near the top of his class, but in his class, he's at the bottom. He has accepted the fact that he will probably be flying Blackhawks and keeps reminding himself that it may work out for him to finish the course and pick up fixed-wing. Plus, many of the civilian agencies use Blackhawks, so if he decides to get out at 6 years, he has more options than if he flew Apaches. But who knows, he is trying to roll with what happens which is huge for him, he's not the first guy to not get what he wants, he certainly won't be the last.
