Insert panic here

If you recall this post

The Army has done it again.

During mine and kids afternoon nap on Friday (stay at home mom has its perks people) Andy received a phone call from the flight school office.

Apparently, he was the only person stupid enough to pick up his phone so far and congratulations, you are starting class on Wednesday. Huh?

And if you recall this post: Payback

He had to learn all of those cards BEFORE class starts, so here he was planning on having 3 more weeks and now has to prepare in 5 days. Granted he has most of them down so he isn't too worried, but the panic set in Friday evening as he ran around trying to go through his flight bag, checklists and everything else to get ready.

Our exciting Friday night was spent with me sitting in the floor swapping out 200 pages of changes in Andy's flight manual. Guess who got to help? The kids spent that time destroying the trash papers while Andy studied. Sadly, no pictures.

And because the Kiowa is so old, there are no simulators for them, so he will be flying in a week, whereas other aircraft may spend a month before flying.

So now, I am spending my time planning for upcoming things to do with the kids, the first 6 weeks or so are going to have Andy out from 7am-6pm so I will be flying solo.

AND! This means we will be out of here end of October/beginning of November, YAY!
