Things are progressing with the backyard. Our part is done, thank goodness.
Saturday Andy spent 6.5 hours re-prepping the yard for sod and then laying the sod. We had it prepped and then the forklift that delivered the sod plus the rain earlier made a bunch of tire tracks and we had to re smooth the whole area.
I helped as much as I could between running the kids and running to Lowes for more fill dirt. Andy laid the edges so all I had to do was fill in with full pieces when I helped.
We both ended up with light sunburns and sore backs, but its done!
Now the fence will be started by the contractor Wednesday and should be finished Friday or Saturday.
