Visited the new doctor, he's laid back which is what I wanted, an ol' Army doc turned pediatrician. Said they looked great, keep doing what we were doing. Very old school, pen and paper, talk to you in his office after, but still nice.
Jake weighed in at 21lbs 5oz (gained 1lb from 15 months)
Addy came in at 26lbs 3oz (up 14oz from 15 months)
Their heights we think were messed up, measured Addy's head to Jake's feet so they said she had 3 inches on him. Don't think so. So we will do the old standby, door-jamb-pencil-test, so scientific.
Kids got their first flu shot (too young the first year and then we moved 3 days later this past year), they go back in a month for the next round.
Newest phrases: Addy-"gosh guys" (where do they learn these things?!) "hey Texas" while patting her leg (to ANY black dog)
Jake-still few words, but he growls at the dogs and when he sees a lion and "see?" while pointing at whatever he wants you to look at.
