The babies are 6 weeks old. Seriously, where does the time go? They doing great holding up their heads, looking around, rolling over is just around the corner, and the smiles we've been getting more and more, are the greatest thing. Andy weighed them yesterday, Addy is up to 9.5lbs and Jake is 8.5lbs, she never misses a meal; we'll see if the pediatrician says anything on the 25th for their 2-month visit.
We've all settled in to a routine that seems to work for all of us, well except Andy, he wants them to sleep through the night, haha. The dogs have accepted the kids with no problem, they have gotten over their nervousness they had in the beginning and Jake no longer screams when Texas checks him out. Jake still gets a little over stimulated when too many things are going on, he needs his quiet time; he will hopefully grow out of it, its just a result of being in the NICU for a month not having that constant stimulation that Addy had.
Our latest adventure dealt with 2 constipated babies, not fun. We got Jake running again with some prune juice and then we noticed Addy was having the same problem, as of this morning we have 2 non-constipated babies. Does this mean I am a true parent since I am discussing poop on a public blog?? Apparently the new formula that works wonders for their gas, has caused other problems, so we've decreased formula and increased momma's milk, we'll see how long I can keep up with them.
In other news, Andy did break his foot. He finally got an x-ray and it showed a huge stress fracture at the ball of the foot by his 3-5th toe. He is going to be treated by a podiatrist rather than the Army since he has a history of stress fractures in his feet, this is his 3rd in 2 years. It swells up and he walks with a limp, (he needs a pimp cane) and he's got a profile for no running until November 28th so he will bike his PT test next week and then be on SERE hold until he heals. So its looking like next summer is when we will be getting out of here.
The dogs have a new fence, I sent Texas out to get a squirrel yesterday, he seems to like it.

I can't believe they are 6 weeks already!! Sounds like they are doing great :)
Way to go, momma! You're doing great with those babies!
Speaking as a mother who just posted on my own blog about the happenings of my boobs, I'd say you're perfectly entitled to blog about poop on yours.
Cute pics!
That's good that everybody's home together and getting along. Sucks about the injury. I'm sorry.
